The north end includes a pantry and serving area, with a brass foot rail and two stools, leading to the 12 x 15 deck off the kitchen. The pantry also has glass cabinet doors with lighted shelves, a granite countertop, and copper sink from France.

In the kitchen, the 6 in. x 6 in. parquet wood flooring continues from the pantry. The kitchen includes granite countertops, recessed lighting, Viking refrigerator, Dacor gas cook top, electric oven and microwave. A tumbled marble back wall highlights the stove area. Two large "8 over 8” Colonial Peachtree windows let plenty of sunlight into the room. Under these windows is a 20" x 28" copper farm sink from France. All of the kitchen and pantry cupboards are Canadian made by the Acorn Cabinet Company.
